Jim has been an avid audio/video enthusiast since the 70’s. He has been tweaking and modifying audio and video equipment ever since. Jim also built many kits back in those days (Heathkit and others). He has built all of his computers since the first one came out in the 70’s. Jim has completed many college courses in electronics and circuit design while working at Pacific Bell. He also worked for AT&T and IBM as a Senior Systems Integrator. After leaving IBM, Jim was ready and willing to help David on his quest for building extreme quality audio and video products.

           In the early 70’s David studied mathematics, physics, chemistry and psychology at the University of New Mexico. Several years ago quality audio became a passion (some might say obsession) that led him to look for someone to help him work on some audio projects that they shared a common interest in. David meets Jim, who fortunately had just the right background and enthusiasm to make it all come together.

           One year later Amazing Audio was founded. Jim and David soon realized they needed a high quality line conditioner. They thought that they could crank one out in short order working at it part time, and boy were they wrong. It took 2 busy years of intense listening sessions and hundreds of experiments to finally discover the perfect circuit design and the best components available. Some of the components had to be created from scratch. It was truly a work of love for great sounding music that kept them going through the tough times. Their persistence paid off with the creation of the Electric Bamboo Line Purifier.

           One of their personal goals is to make the audio community aware that the Electric Bamboo line purifier performs the job of removing AC line noise better than any   they have compared it to.
